Mary Bechmann
Mary BechmannMary Bechmann has over 20 years experience in private equity, and venture capital primarily in healthcare and consumer-related startup businesses. She has an undergraduate degree from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from Stanford and is presently an active private investor in Northern California.


Majora Carter

Majora CarterBest know for incorporating poverty alleviation and environmental stewardship concerns in the South Bronx, Majora Carter is both founder and executive director of Sustainable South Bronx. Looking at both public health concerns as well as environmental concerns Carter has connected the dots between Clean-Tech solutions to persistent problems as well as development programs that foster a skilled green-collar work force. Ms. Carter is also co-founder of GreenForAll.org, an organization dedicated to moving people out of poverty through green collar jobs. She has received numerous honors including a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Environmental Quality Award in 1999, a 2005 MacArthur Foundation Fellowship ("genius grant"), and in 2007 the National Audubon Society's Rachel Carson Award and NYU's Martin Luther King, Jr. Humanitarian Award. In 2007 Newsweek named her one of 25 in "Who's Next in 2007", the NY Post called her one of the "50 most influential women in NYC" and Essence Magazine noted her as one of the "25 most Influential African Americans".


Bob Epstein
Bob EpsteinBob Epstein is an entrepreneur and engineer with a Ph.D. from the University of California at Berkeley. He is a co-founder of four information technology companies — Sybase, Inc., GetActive Software, Zight (Colorado Microdisplay), Britton-Lee - and New Resource Bank, the pioneering environmental bank. Bob currently splits his professional time between his roles as private investor, Director of GetActive Software, Trustee of the Natural Resources Defense Council and founder of Environmental Entrepreneurs. Bob's community activities are focused on the environment, public education and opera.


Jonathan Koomey
Jonathan KoomeyDr. Koomey held the MAP/Ming visiting professorship in energy and environment at Stanford University for the 2003-2004 school year, and is now a Consulting Professor at Stanford. He is also a Staff Scientist at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL), in Berkeley, California. For more than eleven years he led the End-Use Forecasting group at LBNL, which analyzes markets for efficient products and technologies for improving the energy and environmental aspects of those products. The group develops recommendations for policymakers at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy on ways to promote energy efficiency and prevent pollution. In 2006, Dr. Koomey led an industry consensus process to develop a standard protocol to measure energy use and performance of computer servers, resulting in release of a final measurement protocol in November 2006. Dr. Koomey is the author or co-author of eight books and more than 130 articles and reports on energy and climate change. He holds M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the Energy and Resources Group at the University of California at Berkeley, and a B.A. in History of Science from Harvard University.


Scott Loftesness
Scott LoftesnessScott Loftesness has more than 30 years' experience in information technology–as a technologist, senior executive, board member, venture investor, consultant, advisor, and mentor. He works for Glenbrook, a payments consulting and research firm. Earlier, Scott was group executive vice president at First Data Merchant Services. Scott also was group executive vice president at Visa International, where he led the development of Visa's global payment systems strategies, including Visa's research and development initiatives related to card payments, Internet payments and advanced card technologies. Scott began his career as a systems engineer with IBM where he held a series of technical management and product planning positions over the course of seventeen years.


Joel Makower
Joel MakowerFocusing on the balance between business and the environment, Joel Makower has been at the helm of projects combining the two as founder of GreenerBuildings.com, ClimateBiz.com, GreenBiz.com, and other such sites. He also co-founded Clean Edge Inc., which acts as a consulting firm researching where markets exist or can be created for clean energy technology. He is a senior consultant at GreenOrder, which focuses on strategic sustainability issues. He has consulted for a wide range of companies including the likes of Gap, General Motors, and Nike on sustainability and corporate environmental responsibility. In addition to consulting and establishing new projects, Makower is also known for his writing. From 1991 to 2005 he acted as editor of a monthly newsletter "The Green Business Letter," focused on environmental strategies for corporations. He is also author and co-author of more than a dozen books on the intersection of business and the environment and has been called "the guru of green business practices" by the Associated Press. He lectures regularly and is featured often on environmental topics on public radio as well as appearing on many advisory boards and in citations in broadcast and in print.


Jim Pitts
Jim PittsJim Pitts is the former Chief Investment Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of The Boston Foundation. He has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Clean Harbors, Inc. as well as Chief Financial Officer of Bain and Company. He has also held senior financial roles in publicly traded multinational corporations that include Cullinet Software, Data General Corporation, and Digital Equipment Corporation. He is currently a Director of Wainwright Bank & Trust Company, and has served as a Director of the Children's Museum in Boston and the Lakes Region Conservation Trust. Jim is a Certified Public Accountant, and an honors graduate of Niagara University with an M.B.A. from the University of Connecticut. In addition, he is a graduate of the Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program and the International Management Institute in Geneva. Jim's service in the U.S. Army Reserve culminated in the rank of Colonel and included a tour of duty in Operation Desert Storm.


Steve Reinhardt
Steve ReinhardtOver a twenty-plus year career Steve has worked across virtually every discipline of marketing including Brand Strategy, Consumer Marketing and Advertising & Direct Marketing. Over the course of his career he's specialized in working on brands in fast moving, rapidly changing categories including Compaq, BMW, AT&T and The North Face in both consulting and corporate management roles. While at eBay, Steve was part of a management team that helped to build eBay Motors from $2 billion to over $5 billion dollars in sales over a four year period. Steve earned his B.S. from The University of Texas at Austin and has completed Executive Management programs at Kellogg and most recently The Business Strategies for Environmental Sustainability Program at The Stanford Graduate School of Business.


Skip Rudolf
Skip RudolfSkip Rudolf is the Founder of GoGlobal! Interactive, a San Francisco and Copenhagen based agency that develops and executes efficient online marketing strategies, programs, and solutions for European and North American companies. Prior to founding GoGlobal!, Skip lead marketing at Digital Chocolate, one of the world's most successful mobile software publishers. Before Digital Chocolate, Skip served as Vice President, Marketing & Consumer Sales at Alibris, the leading global supplier of hard-to-find books, music, and movies. At Alibris, Skip grew the consumer business into the company's first profitable and largest sales channel. At Mpath Interactive—the developer of the Internet's first low-latency, multiplayer game network—Skip led Web development and community programming, helping grow the membership base to over two million gamers and developing one of the Internet's top five most engaging properties. Skip earned his B.A. in History from Colgate University.

Sunshine Consultants represents prominent entertainers including Ben Affleck, Bon Jovi, Leonardo DiCaprio, Barbra Streisand and Justin Timberlake. Formerly, Ken Sunshine served as the chief of staff to the mayor of the City of New York and as a political consultant to national and local campaigns. He held executive positions in the public and private sectors, and has specialized in media consulting, public responsibility and influencing public policy for over twenty years. Sunshine has lectured widely on politics, media relations and public relations and has been a frequent guest on Good Morning America, The Today Show, Nightline, Dateline NBC, CNN, 60 Minutes, Fox News Channel and MSNBC. He was recently named one of New York Magazine's "most influential people".
